My love for science and math started in the 3rd grade, as well as my love for plants and herbs. At a young age, I watched my grandpa, Paul Poche Sr. , heal members of our family using natural concoctions with ingredients from the earth. I was intrigued by the smile on his face when the person he was attempting to help received relief or satisfaction from his concoction.
The love for science followed me through high school and college. Attending Texas Southern University allowed me to harness my love for chemistry and obtain a Bachelors degree in Chemistry. I used that degree for more than 20+ years to help companies further their ideas and products.
After having my twins and desiring the best for them, I sought after safe, all natural products any time I could. After discovering my daughter was breaking out in rashes, I realized a change had to be made.
I began crafting and formulating my own products and, soon, Alita's Down To Earth Skin Solutions was born.
